Testimonials

“Art, Remember us? We live in Westcliffe, Colorado and your system passed the test!!! Last weekend, we had hurricane force winds of more than 100 mph. The wind broke out some windows, took out our goat shed, made the house shake, but the foundation stood firm! It’s great and we’re thankful!”

“Since 1994, the owners of FABMAC Homes, Inc. in Hawaii have been using the SURESAFE Foundation System, because this system is HUD approved, site specific, and earthquake and Hurricane rated.” Francesca Carey, CEO, FABMAC Homes, Inc. Hawaii

“Our home has never felt this secure and our doors are closing so much better now. Nothing rattles anymore and it is so quiet walking from room to room” – Mar 2004
Clarence de Young, Steel Buttress Owner

“I’m amazed at the results of my Steel Buttress foundation . . . what a difference it has made. Just walking from room to room you can actually feel the improved firmness of the added support. Generally, the whole home feels solid, a secure feeling for sure.” – Nov 2003
Gerald Black, Steel Buttress Owner

“We are very satisfied with the foundation . . . and, just like you said, it’s like walking on a concrete floor. We will now be as safe and secure as possible in our home, we will recommend the Sure Safe foundation to everyone!”
Ruth M., Steel Buttress Owner

“I’m looking for a new home. It is good to know we have choices as I am sure we will not be told of all our choices when we go to buy.”
Martha, Fallbrook, California

“When I bragged about our new Sure Safe foundation to our neighbor, she said, “sounds good, but will it pass the acid test?” It did. When I turned the washing machine on to the spin cycle, it didn’t vibrate at all! Now she wants a foundation for her home. Do I get a commission?”
Rick D., Steel Buttress Owner

“We are purchasing a 2200 sq ft. home to put on a kale lot. Your foundation sounds like what we need. Also, we are interested in becoming a dealer”
Sandra Elkhart, Modular Homes Texas

“Attention mobile home owners”
This letter is not intended to be a commercial, but it is intended to save future mobile homeowners a lot of grief. I recently had a Sure Safe® foundation system installed under my home. I have lived in California for 47 years and the earthquake of January 17th was the most severe I have ever experienced. All the homes around me suffered damage except for two others (in addition to mine). What the three of us have in common is that we all have a Sure Safe® Foundation. Without a doubt, it was the best investment I ever made next to buying my home. By the way, the only thing that happened to my home was I had to straighten out a picture on the wall! Smart planning has its own rewards. Mine, is PEACE OF MIND.
Sincerely,
Ken Carpenter

“We were so impressed with your “Sure Safe” method”
We had two other bids that estimated a completion time of 10 days to 3 weeks. Needless to say we were excited when we were told you could complete the job in one day! This combined with a letter of approval from HUD and a letter from an independent structural engineer helped reassure the lender that the foundation was compliant. We were so impressed with your “Sure Safe” method. It was a pleasure working with your company. I look forward to recommending your company to other potential manufactured homebuyers.
Best regards,
Judy Peterson

Around five years ago my wife and I were sitting at the dining room table taking a coffee break while doing the washing. The machine was in a spin cycle and the dryer was tumbling a load of clothes. I looked at my wife and said “You know if we put a permanent foundation under the house we would not have to sit here and see waves running across the top of our coffee cups or feel the whole house shake. This was also a problem if a heavy-set person walked across the floor. I had checked under the house to ensure all the plates and jacks were tight and level, 68 places were all in good shape. Then and there we decided we would look for a responsible company that would meet the necessary codes that would give us the stability we longed for as well as allow us or the children, should we be gone, to easily get rid of the house and property by allowing the buyers to purchase with an FHA type loan.

Well to make a long story short I found that our Condominium style Mobile Home Park was not HUD approved and there was a Federal Law which did not allow Condominium Parks to get HUD approved forward or reverse mortgage loans. After having HUD people come down to visit from Santa Ana and giving some pretty good arguments as to why we should be approved and sending reams of paper pertaining to the Park’s budget, C.C.& R’s, etc., as well as writing letters to Congressmen and HUD officials we finally were approved last summer. Four years of fighting and now all we had to do was to find that right company to do a proper job.

It so happened that at the time we were having our Trust updated and one of the individuals at the firm doing this job mentioned that there was a company up in north county that had developed a new style of permanent foundation that met all the needs required and took a very short time to install and the best part of all, it could be done with almost no upset to the house and property. This pleased my wife very much.

We were given the number to call and the next day we called. Turned out to be one of the best calls we ever made. They explained the technique to us, very simple and straight forward. My wife and I talked it over for a couple of days and invited them down to speak to us. It was so simple and structurally sound that we said “Let’s do it”.

The Company took dimensions of the home and sketched it out. Also checked the heights from the main beams to the grade level. In a few days the engineering was completed and drawn specifying the location of all the pier points.

On the day of installation and concrete pour a truck arrived at approximately 10:00AM. The Safety jacks were in the back of the truck with all the necessary hardware and the special poly bags to hold the concrete. By noon they were all in place under the home. Shortly before noon the “pumper” showed up and parked in the carport and was soon operational and ready to go. Fifteen minutes later a concrete mixer (large) was backing down the road toward the home. Immediately it was pouring the wet concrete into the pumper hopper and three men were under the home pulling the hose into place to fill each of the bags wrapped around the base of the jack with concrete. By 4:00PM everything was completed under the home, the pumper and concrete mixer were gone and everything washed down and clean as a whistle. All this had been done through the existing crawl space doors and the doors had been replaced on completion of the pour.

By dinner time that evening we could already feel the difference while walking about. Solid as a concrete pad. The following morning it was wonderful to jump out of bed onto a solid floor. The next time the washing was done no more rock and roll.

A couple of weeks later the county inspector came out to inspect the foundation and sign it off. His comments about the quality of the whole installation also made us feel very good. The installation was done in the fall of 2009 and since then there have been five earthquakes of 5+ magnitude within 100 miles. Three of them we did not feel anything, one we were not home and the other there was a hefty roll but the home remained very stable.

Thank you SURE SAFE we are very happy we had your foundation installed by your firm. We know we meet all the standards we wanted and feel very safe in our home.
