This new solution was put to the test in March 2024 when a 30-foot tree, uprooted by strong winds, collided with a 1934 Craftsman home. The impact, equivalent to a 7.0-magnitude earthquake, caused no major structural damage thanks to the VR-1 foundation, showcasing its vital role in protecting vulnerable properties from both natural disasters and unexpected forces.
